Odin ice bath: help for owners, and the closest alternative
Odin Ice Baths entered administration in April 2025, and its Australian website is offline. If you own an Odin or were about to buy one, here is what that means for servicing, filters and warranty, and how the Odin 3.0 compares with the Helsi™ Ice Plunge.

What happened to Odin ice baths?
Odin Ice Baths, an Australian maker of cedar ice baths, entered administration in April 2025, and its Australian website is no longer online. Installed Odin units keep working, but filters and servicing now come from third parties. The Helsi™ Ice Plunge is built along the same lines: cedar outside, stainless steel inside, a built-in 1.5 hp chiller that makes its own ice and Wi-Fi control. It also heats to 42 °C, has UV built in, and is sold and serviced in Australia by Clearlight Saunas Australia.

If you own an Odin ice bath

Keep it running
An installed Odin keeps working as long as its chiller, pump and controls do. Rinse the filter, keep the lid closed and check the water values (pH 7.2 to 7.6) as before.

Filters and parts
Odin no longer supplies parts. Third-party sellers offer replacement filters for Odin units: check the size of your current cartridge before you order.

Servicing
A refrigeration or pool technician can service the chiller. Note the model and the refrigerant on the unit’s label before you call.

Warranty
Claims against a company in administration go to its administrator. If you bought from a retailer, your consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law also apply to that retailer.
